To ensure that students succeed in their studies, the Studierendenwerk Thüringen provides reasonably priced catering close to the university. The dining halls and cafeterias offer a wide range of food and beverages, which always meet the needs and wishes of the guests.
In addition, the facilities are also popular meeting places. Therefore, a visit to the "Mensa" (dining hall) is an indispensable part of student life.

Labelling of additives and allergens in the food offers according to the Zusatzstoff-Zulassungsverordnung (ZZulV) § 9 Kenntlichmachung / Regulation (EU) 1169/2011 (Food Information Regulations).
As daily changes in the offer are only displayed in the Internet menu with a certain time delay, we ask you to additionally inform yourself about the presence of allergens, additives and ingredients at the displays. When allergenic ingredients are used, they will be indicated.
Despite utmost care, however, we cannot exclude the possibility - technically unavoidable - that these substances may also have been added to other dishes.

Pastateller zum Festpreis

Seit Anfang Juli bieten wir in der Mensa Ehrenberg in Ilmenau und in der Mensa am Park in Weimar Pastateller zur Selbstbedienung zum Fixpreis an. Täglich stehen euch zwei Sorten Nudeln und zwei Soßen (1x vegan, 1x vegetarisch) zur Auswahl. Für Studierende kostet der Teller 3,10 EUR.

Das Studierendenwerk Thüringen erhält eine Zuwendung über knapp 24,7 Mio. EUR für Mensaneubau vom Freistaat Thüringen - Staatssekretär Herr Carsten Feller übergibt den Bescheid in Erfurt

Am 16. Juli 2024 hat der Thüringer Staatssekretär für Wirtschaft, Hochschulen, Tourismus und Digitales, Herr Carsten Feller, in Erfurt dem Geschäftsführer des Studierendenwerks Thüringen, Herrn Torsten Schubert, den Zuwendungsbescheid für die Errichtung eines Mensaneubaus in Erfurt überreicht.

Steigende Servicekosten für die Aufladung der thoska

Immer mehr Banken geben keine EC und Maestro-Karten an ihre Kund*innen aus, was diese im Alltag vor Akzeptanzprobleme beim bargeldlosen Bezahlen stellt. In seinen Mensen hat das Studierendenwerk Thüringen daher im vergangenen Jahr die Zahlungsmöglichkeiten mit neuen Aufwertern erweitert, so dass die Studierenden und die Hochschulangehörigen ihre thoska seitdem auch mit Debit- und Kreditkarten aufwerten können.

Erfolgreicher Verlauf der veganen Aktionstage planted. Food

In den Mensen des Studierendenwerks Thüringen fand am 29. und 30. November eine Aktion statt: Der Verkauf von veganen Gerichten von planted. sorgte für reges Interesse unter den Studierenden. Während der Aktionstage an den Standorten Jena, Erfurt, Weimar und Ilmenau konnten die Studierenden zwei pflanzliche Gerichte genießen und anschließend bewerten.

Evaluation

At regular intervals, the Studierendenwerk Thüringen tests its offers and services.
